My Week in Pictures.

The house mascot.

Look who we found hanging around on our roof the other morning? My comic book geek roomie Eddie had to change his underwear.

The dress.

I actually got this dress from Mink Pink’s Quirky Circus range a couple of weeks ago, but I kept forgetting to snap it!

I’m thinking of wearing it to my friend Katrina’s birthday dinner tomorrow night. It’s supposed to be 20º, which is a positive heat wave! Warm enough for a summer dress…?

The flowers.

I decided to brighten up the new place with some cheap flowers from the Vic Market. Daffodils in honour of Daffodil Day (Eddie’s been touched by cancer several times. I’ve been luckier.), and some purple flowers of some description for my room.

The book.

I’ve just started reading Dr. Caroline de Costa’s book, Never, Ever, Again: Why Australian Abortion Law Needs Reform, which I picked up at the book’s launch last Friday.

The writers’ festival.

I’ve blogged all this week about the three events I’ve been to so far, and I’ve got one more coming up on Sunday afternoon, entitled Beyond White Guilt. A recap should be up mid-next week.

The stack.

It was all about Kim Kardashian’s wedding in the glossies this week which, I must say, seemed a bit lacklustre to me. All that decadence and not a whole lot of class.
